Tasmanian Irrigation Pty Ltd (TI) is the state-owned company responsible for developing and operating irrigation schemes funded through public/private partnerships. With 18 operational irrigation schemes, 2 mini hydro plants and $208M of funding for the development of new schemes it is exciting times ahead for TI and the Tasmanian Agribusiness sector.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, this multi-faceted position plays a vital role in TI’s successful operations and future development. Providing detailed analysis, modelling and reporting to the leadership team, you will utilise your commercial acumen and analytical skills to identify business and process improvement opportunities. You will assist in the commercial negotiation of key supply contracts along with the collation, analysis and provision of data relating to various forecasting, financial and economic models across the organisation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The ideal applicant will hold a degree in Business or Finance or be a CA or CPA qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a financial services role within a complex commercial organisation. You will have demonstrated financial, commercial and economic modelling capability with the ability to distil and present complex analysis simply and succinctly. An excellent problem solver with a pro-active nature, you will also be comfortable with Power BI, SharePoint and other reporting software.
