Full Time, Fixed Term (3 year) Role
Tasmanian Irrigation Pty Ltd (TI) is the state-owned company responsible for developing and operating irrigation schemes funded through public/private partnerships. With 18 operational irrigation schemes, 2 mini hydro plants and $208M of funding for the development of new schemes it is exciting times ahead for TI and the Tasmanian Agribusiness sector.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Lead this role is responsible for assisting with preparation of tender documents, updating existing contracts and explaining terms and conditions to stakeholders. Ensuring that employees understand and comply with company contracts, analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms and stay up-to date with legislative changes, coordinate with the legal department as needed in accordance with the organisation’s values, contract specification, irrigator agreements and legislative compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years experience in a Contracts Administration role in construction or a similar industry. You will be experienced in administrative procedures and systems including document control, data entry and file management. An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, you will also be comfortable with financial, procurement and project report software applications and Microsoft Office.
