WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

As a key member of Tasmanian Irrigation’s environment team, you will:

• Assist the development and delivery of environmental management and compliance program activities.

• Provide environmental support for new and operational schemes including process, regulatory and compliance activities.

• Prepare, amend, review and audit Farm Water Access Plans (Farm WAPs).

• Provide support to Tasmanian Irrigation’s ecologist including field surveys and inspections.

• Assist administering and implementing Operational Environmental Management Plans (OEMPs) for all operating schemes including conducting audits, developing supporting documentation and reporting procedures, and training operators.

• Assist annual compliance report preparation.

• Be agile to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Be primarily based in the office but will also drive to conduct field activities at operating agricultural facilities, irrigation properties, construction sites, remote monitoring locations, and new scheme locations.
