Schemes developed by Tasmanian Irrigation are taken from concept to reality through a logical and systematic process. Not all projects referred to Tasmanian Irrigation make it all the way through. Schemes that are unfeasible, unviable, unsustainable or for which there is simply insufficient demand become apparent early in the investigation process.
The ability of a project to progress to a new phase depends on it successfully completing the preceding phase. You are invited to examine how TI develops schemes. The activities, surveys and regulatory obligations which occupy TI at the various stages differ slightly depending on whether the proposed scheme is dam-based or pipeline-based,
