Tasmanian Irrigation Media Statement

The Board of Tasmanian Irrigation today announced that Nicola Morris has ceased employment as Chief Executive Officer.

The Board thanked Ms Morris for her contribution to the Company over the past two and a half years.

Ms Morris has overseen the completion of two fully operational irrigation schemes, a further two that will deliver water this summer, another that is under construction and the development of the Pipeline to Prosperity projects.

Tasmanian Irrigation continues its focus of operational responsibility as the Company transitions from developing and building irrigation schemes to managing operational water delivery schemes.

Tasmanian Irrigation will continue a high level of engagement with key internal and external stakeholders, including the irrigation community, in a collaborative manner.

Tasmanian Irrigation General Manager Water Delivery and Infrastructure Andrew Kneebone has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer. Mr Kneebone has worked in senior management roles in Tasmanian, Victorian and West Australian water companies, including CEO of Cradle Mountain Water.

The Tasmanian Irrigation Board will advertise for a new Chief Executive Officer in early 2019.
