Launch of Midlands Winter Water Entitlement Tender
Tasmanian Irrigation has opened the tender process for the Midlands Winter Water Entitlement Tender. We are offering 3,414 ML of winter water in the Blackmans River and Macquarie River on the Midlands Irrigation Scheme.
This is an opportunity for landholders to secure valuable water entitlements in the Midlands Scheme through a competitive tender process. The tender process is designed to maximise fairness and accessibility, ensuring irrigators can benefit from sustainable water access at competitive pricing.

Drop-in Information Sessions
We’re holding drop-in days where members of the team will be available to explain the tender process and answer questions about submission requirements and evaluation criteria.

2. Submit Your Bid
- Complete a Water Entitlements Tender Application Form, outlining:
- Minimum acceptable volume
- Price per ML
- Total ML requested
- Any proposed alternative payment terms
- You can submit via email to tenders@tasirrigation.com.au, at the tender box (Launceston office: Level 2, Launceston Airport Passenger Terminal Building, Western Junction), or in person at drop-in days.
3. Notification of Results
- Successful bidders will be notified via email, phone, and official letter.
