Following a number of important steps, including community consultation, Expressions of Interest and the launch of the Preferred Design Option, each new irrigation project is opened up for Water Sales.
This enables landowners to formally apply for water entitlements with a view to entering a contract with Tasmanian Irrigation to purchase an agreed number of megalitres of irrigation water.
